Myron J. Poliner was admitted to practice in the courts of the State of Connecticut and the Federal District court of Connecticut in 1957. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University '54 with distinction and the University of Virginia Law School '57.

His practice is concentrated in the areas of probate practice and estate administration, wills and trusts, contracts, and the purchase, sale and financing of residential and commercial real estate. On many occasions, Attorney Poliner has been appointed by probate judges to administer estates or to replace administrators and executors who have mismanaged estates.

Mr. Poliner has served on many committees of the Connecticut Bar Association including Judiciary, Clients' Security Fund and Arbitration of Fee disputes of which he was a founding member and its chairman. He is past president of the Middlesex County Bar Association and, since 1981, by appointment of the Judges of the Superior Court, he continues to serve as member and chairman of the Standing Committee on recommendations for admission to the Bar for the Judicial District of Middlesex. For many years he has had an Av rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

He has served as assistant corporation counsel to the City of Middletown and chairman of both the Board of Education and the Water Pollution Control Authority in East Hampton, Connecticut.  He is now executive counsel for the Town of Durham, CT.

In 1988 he was chosen as one of eight Connecticut electors to cast an official ballot to elect the President of the United States.

For ten years ending in 2005, he served as President of the Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina Condominium Association, St. Thomas, VI. Since 1991 he has been chairman of the Endowment Committee of Congregation Adath Israel Synagogue. He is a member of Anchor Lodge No. 112, A.F. & A.M. and is a Corporator of the Middlesex Hospital.
